Calla has always welcomed war.
But now that the final battle is upon her, there's more at stake than fighting. There's saving Ren, even if it incurs Shay's wrath. There's keeping Ansel safe, even if he's been branded a traitor. There's proving herself as the pack's alpha, facing unnamable horrors, and ridding the world of the Keepers' magic once and for all. And then there's deciding what to do when the war ends. If Calla makes it out alive, that is. In this remarkable final installment of the Nightshade trilogy, international bestselling author Andrea Cremer crafts a dynamic novel with twists and turns that will keep you breathless until its final pages.

Stacking the Shelves #7

Stacking the Shelves is a weekly meme hosted by Tynga's Reviews.

Stacking the Shelves is all about sharing the book you are adding to your shelves, may it be physical or virtual. This means you can include books you buy in a physical store or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts, and of course ebooks.

I didn't post one last week, as I just totally forgot about it and had a lot of homework to catch up on. Only two weeks left of the semester, yet they'll be the most painful.

Books I Got From the Library:
Requiem by Lauren Oliver
Ensnared by A.G. Howard (only took me 2 months to get it...)
A Cold Legacy by Megan Shepherd
Perchance to Dream by Lisa Mantchev
Asunder by Jodi Meadows

Books I Plan to Finish:
For Darkness Shows the Stars by Diana Peterfreund
Florence by Ciye Cho

Books I Plan to Start:
Requiem by Lauren Oliver
Shutdown by Heather Anastasiu

Books I Plan to Review:
Bloodrose by Andrea Cremer (I hope to post it today)
The Taking by Kimberly Derting
Valkyrie Rising by Ingrid Paulsen
Everbound by Brodi Ashton

Books I Reviewed:
None (Sadly :( )

I haven't gotten much done. And that makes me super sad. I'm just going to plan to push myself through the next two weeks. Especially with blogging, homework, finals, and Camp NaNo. Cross your fingers for me! I need all the luck I can get!

Feature and Follow #14

Alison Can Read Feature & Follow

Feature and Follow is a weekly meme hosted by Alison Can Read and Parajunkee's View.

This weeks featured blogger is The Mistress Case.

This Weeks Question:
Here is $100,000. Buy something. Anything at all! What would be the first thing you choose, and why?

First of all: College tuition.
I'm a poor college student, and I need all the money I can get. I know I can get financial aid, but I'm not sure how much I can get since I still live with my parents. :(

Next: New car.
My car is 22 years old. It is older than me. Everyday I'm worried it will by it's last, and I'll have to get a new one over the summer.

Third: Travelling.
One of my biggest dreams is to travel the world. I just want to see everything there is. And I could probably go to some author book tours as well!

Fourth: Apartment.
I want to move out soon, but you need money for that.

OK that's more than one. I would probably buy all the things I need at the time, and then save the rest for later. I don't want to spend all this money too fast! No if only I really was given $100,000...

What would you buy with $100,000?

Confessions of a Bookworm #4

Confessions of a Bookworm #2

Confessions of a Bookworm is a new meme hosted by Anila at Parajunkee's View.

With this new feature, we have the opportunity to get to know each other by making confessions.

My Confession:
I hate it when people ask me what I'm reading. I understand they make be truly interested, but I don't care. You're interrupting my reading groove and I don't like it. Let me read in peace. I don't care if I'm at home or at work. Don't ask what I'm reading. I guess I don't like being asked because I read a lot of YA, and people are usually pretty judgmental about the genre.

This Weeks Question Is:
If you could time travel, and meet your favorite author (someone who unfortunately isn't among us), what would you do?

He's not my favorite author, but I would like to meet William Shakespeare. I think that he is really interesting and would just like to get to know him. And ask him if HE actually wrote all those plays and poems.

Waiting on Wednesday #9

Waiting on Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Breaking the Spine.

This meme highlights upcoming releases that we can't wait for!

This weeks pick...
Truthwitch (The Witchlands, #1)
"Truthwitch (The Witchlands, #1)" by Susan Dennard
Expected Publication: January 2016

On a continent ruled by three empires, some are born with a “witchery,” a magical skill that sets them apart from others.
In the Witchlands, there are almost as many types of magic as there are ways to get in trouble—as two desperate young women know all too well.
Safiya is a Truthwitch, able to discern truth from lie. It’s a powerful magic that many would kill to have on their side, especially amongst the nobility to which Safi was born. So Safi must keep her gift hidden, lest she be used as a pawn in the struggle between empires.
Iseult, a Threadwitch, can see the invisible ties that bind and entangle the lives around her—but she cannot see the bonds that touch her own heart. Her unlikely friendship with Safi has taken her from life as an outcast into one of reckless adventure, where she is a cool, wary balance to Safi’s hotheaded impulsiveness.
Safi and Iseult just want to be free to live their own lives, but war is coming to the Witchlands. With the help of the cunning Prince Merik (a Windwitch and ship’s captain) and the hindrance of a Bloodwitch bent on revenge, the friends must fight emperors, princes, and mercenaries alike, who will stop at nothing to get their hands on a Truthwitch.
Two words: Susan. Dennard. OF COURSE I'm going to want this book! I adored her Something Strange & Deadly trilogy and I NEED this book so badly! It was originally supposed to be released at the end of this year, but then it was pushed back until early 2016. I'm sobbing uncontrollably now.
