Feature and Follow #3

This Weeks Question:
Hard print (real thing) or Kindle/Nook, which is your favorite?

I like them both, but I think I might like physical copies a bit more. While ebooks are REALLY convenient, it requires me to have my iPod charged, as I do not own a Nook or a Kindle. Ebooks are easier to travel with, but I like the feeling of a real book. I can hold it, smell it, carry it. I like being able to see how much of the book I have left (but ebooks do usually tell you about how long it will take you to finish the book) and flip through the pages. It's a really hard choice. I think it also depends on the mood I'm in really.

  1. Definitely agree! There is nothing better than the actual book in your hands. :)

    1. I just love the feeling of something in my hands and turning the pages! I guess I'm just so used to it.

  2. I really love them both myself, I like trying to compete with the estimated time for reading a particular book on Kindle, to see if I can beat it and read it quicker than the Kindle tells me I will. Crazy, I know right, because here I am (a human) essentially competing with an electronic product?! lol.

I'm an oddball and a new follower of your awesome blog!

Happy Reading and Hopping Through! :)

    1. I always try to compete with the estimated time as well! I like knowing that I can "beat" the book. Crazy, I guess. Thanks!

  3. Great answer! I love both. But I definitely agree, it probably mostly depends on my mood. Sometimes I just want to read one or the other. The Kindle is really convenient, but I do sometimes forget to plug it in to charge.

    1. It especially sucks when it needs to be charged and you either forgot your charger or you're someplace where you can't charge it. Than you're screwed. Thanks for checking out my blog!
