Top Ten Tuesday #18

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by The Broke and the Bookish.

This week is all about the top ten authors that we would love to meet!

This one was pretty easy! I know my favorite authors, however, I just have to make sure that I only choose ten! No particular order as I love them all so much!

10.
Marissa Meyer
Marissa Meyer
I'm counting down the days until Winter is released! I need it so badly!

9.
Jodi Meadows
Jodi Meadows
I recently read the first two books of her Newsoul trilogy, and they're amazing! I have The Orphan Queen sitting on my nightstand and I'll read that soon!

8.
Lauren DeStefano
Lauren DeStefano
One: Her writing is amazing. I can't wait for the third book of her Internment trilogy! Two: Her tweets are so funny! I feel like she'd be super fun to talk to!

7.
Jennifer L. Armentrout
Jennifer L. Armentrout
I want to know where she got the ideas for all of her series! Aliens, half-gods, and gargoyles and demons! Oh my!

6.
A.G. Howard
A.G. Howard
I love how her Alice in Wonderland retelling is so dark and creepy and I want to know where she got that idea! And I NEED Untamed!

5.
Marie Rutkoski
Marie Rutkoski
I just started The Winner's Crime, and I already know that it's going to be an emotional rollercoaster! And the cover for The Winner's Kiss was just revealed!

4.
Megan Shepherd
Megan Shepherd
I'd love to know where she got all of her inspiration and ideas for her The Madman's Daughter trilogy! And her new trilogy sounds amazing! I need to get my hands on it!

3.
Susan Dennard
Susan Dennard
I've almost met her. TWICE. She was doing a book signing, but I couldn't go because it was the day after I got my wisdom teeth out. And the second time I couldn't get off work to go! I loved her Something Strange & Deadly trilogy and can't wait for Truthwitch!

2.
Sarah J. Maas
Sarah J. Maas
She seems so sweet and her writing is fantastic! Plus she loves ballet so I'd want to talk about that with her, as I am a dancer and love people who support it! I can't wait to get my hands on A Court of Thorns & Roses!

1.
J.K. Rowling
J.K. Rowling
Bow down to the Queen! Harry Potter is what helped increase my love for books, even though I read it when I was 15/16, a lot older than everyone else when they read it. I've been to The Elephant House, where she wrote some of the books, and it was an amazing experience!

These are all of my favorite authors! Well, ten of them anyway. They're all incredibly amazing and they're books will always be favorites! Because of this, I really want to meet them! Hopefully one day...

  1. Wonderful list. My list is a tad scary, but what can you expect from a Stephen King fan. However, there are a few on your list whom I think are great as well.

  10. Haha, I can't believe it. I always thought A.G Howard was a man :P Probably because the first book I saw by her was like the second or third book in her splintered series, with the mad hatter (I assume) at the cover. And he was a man, so then I just made the assumption I guess ;) It's a really pretty cover though, and I hope I get around to reading the books :)
