Feature and Follow #11

Alison Can Read Feature & Follow

Feature and Follow is a weekly meme hosted by Alison Can Read and Parajunkee's View.

This weeks featured blogger is Bursting Books Reviews!

The Weeks Question:
Have you ever been to BEA? If not, what's stopping you? If you have, what was your best experience there?

Sadly, I have never been to BEA. I didn't learn about it until recently, so I don't really know too much about it, other than that I would LOVE to go! The reason I haven't gone, other than not knowing about it too much, is that I can't afford it. I'd have to pay for a train/plane/bus ticket, a hotel, food, and then the cost for the convention itself! I would love to go one day, maybe when I am not a broke college student and have more money and time to go!

Have you been to BEA?

  2. I live a long long way from America and haven't been ever to BEA either cause of the expenses. But would love to.

  3. Yeah, travel and hotel will definitely be costly, but I know several bloggers who went last year shared hotel rooms... And they are still friends ;)
I hope we'll be able to go one day, it would be great to meet in real life.
    Have a fantastic Friday Lizzie.

  5. Yep, that's exactly why I haven't gone! Adding all the costs up, it's way too expensive :( Hopefully one day we'll manage it! Have a great weekend, Lizzie!

  8. A lot of responses are along much the same line as yours Lizzie - it's either costs or location. BEA is great if you live on the North East Coast, and it's only a short coach/bus trip. Anything else (hello...whole other continent...) and it's just a no-go.

Regular follower and thanks for stopping by mine xxxx

    1. I like in the Midwest, right next to the East Coast actually, but it would still cost SO much! No problem, and thanks for stopping by!

  11. Planning a trip like this would be costly. If I were living with my parents and without so much responsibility I would definitely go ha ha! Old follower!

  12. I think it'd be fun to go to but it is a big deal and would require a lot of planning. I think I'll stick to my local conventions!

    1. You need to put in a lot of work for it. And there aren't any conventions near where I live. :(
